Riverside Walk Take in the views of the Richmond River along the pathway that guides our riverside walk. If you’re lucky you might even spot a platypus.
Casino Pool The Olympic sized Casino pool has disability access via a chair lift and a learner’s pool.
Northern Rivers Military Museum The museum provides a history of military in the Northern Rivers. The museum is accessible via footpaths. There is disabled parking available at the front of the museum.
Casino Historical Museum The museum houses artifacts and stories of Casino and the Northern Rivers. Parking is available at the front of the museum and behind the Community Centre.
Federation Heritage Walk Follow the paved footpaths around the Casino CBD on our Federation Building Walk. This walk is flat and suitable for any ability levels
Broadwater Accessible Attractions
Broadwater Koala Reserve The reserve is easily accessible from the Pacific Highway. Pull up your car and see if you can spot koalas in nearby trees.
Our Daily Bread Cafe Enjoy a meal or coffee in a beautifully restored old Catholic Church. There is an access ramp leading from the car park into the cafe.
PRIMEX Norco PRIMEX is Australia’s sustainable farm and primary industries exhibition and has been an integral part of the country’s agricultural field days since 1985. PRIMEX offers a complete Paddock to Plate Experience ‘Where Farmers and Foodies Meet’. For visitors with mobility issues buggy’s are available at the event upon request.
Evans Head Accessible Attractions
Main Beach Evans Head Main Beach is accessible by footpath. A beach wheelchair is available at the Evans Head Surf Club for free use during patrolled hours.
Surfing The Far North Coast Disabled Surfers Association of Australia hosts free regular surfing days in the region for people that require assisted surfing.
Riverside Walk Footpaths run from the mouth of the Evans Head river for beautiful views of the ocean and surrounding headlands.
Evans Head Aquatic Centre Housing a 25m pool and kids play area the Evans Head Aquatic Centre is open throughout the year. There is a wheelchair lift available on request.
Coraki Accessible Attractions
Coraki Park Take in the views of the Richmond River along the Coraki riverside walk. There is a concrete pathway that runs adjacent to the river which is accessible from Richmond Terrace.
Coraki Museum The Mid-Richmond Historical Society and Museum is accessible by ramp and incorporates a range of local artefacts and historical information.
Woodburn Accessible Attractions
Woodburn Riverside Park has recently undergone a complete transformation and is now home to a brand new playground, sheltered picnic area, barbeques and winding footpaths that weave throughout the precinct. There are female and male accessible toilets and baby change table facilities available.
