Step back in time and join the Casino & District Historical Society Inc. as we celebrate a magnificent milestone—our 60th Birthday Celebration! We are opening our doors for a weekend packed with heritage, community spirit, and historical treasures. Entry is completely free, and everyone is welcome to join the festivities.

Here is what we have lined up for this special weekend:

🎂 Friday: The Grand Celebration & Cake Cutting

Kick off the birthday weekend with our official opening ceremony and a slice of celebration cake!

• When: Friday, 11th September 2026 at 9:30 AM SHARP.

• Where: Casino Community Centre (35 Walker Street).

• The Museum Opening: The Museum will open its doors directly after the cake cutting ceremony.

• RSVP: Please RSVP by Tuesday, 8th September to help us manage seating and catering.

🏛️ Saturday: Museum Open Day & Treasure Appraisal

The fun continues into the weekend with a chance to explore local history and value your own family keepsakes.

• Museum Open Day: Discover our region’s rich story.

  • Hours: 9:30 AM – 2:00 PM

  • Location: Casino Historical Museum, 31B Walker Street, Casino NSW

• Family History Group Appraisal Day: Bring along your personal “treasures” and family heirlooms to have them professionally valued!
